Commercial Projects - Aircraft
Bleriot Vosin, Blackburn Monoplane BE2- Yorkshire TV
These are some of my favourite models - I have built 12 what I call Pioneer Aviation models - All are built to ¼ scale and feature Wing warping and “suspension under cart” They have been used for many may period dramas. They have also been used in TV Commercials and also a couple of Charity events
Royal Navy Outreach Program
Initially I was contacted to build working models of historic ships ( please see ship section) However we have been working with them to recreate flying models of Historic Fleet Air Arm aircraft with the aim of using HMS Invincible as a Flying site for Navy days and Recruitment So Far we have Built 1/5th Scale Blackburn Roc, Fairy Fulmar, Seafire, Mac Ship Sea Hurricane, Martlet, Corsair, Firefly and to ¼ Scale Sopwith Camel and Pup. The Commission is for 18 models.
As well as Aircraft I have built many Rc Ship and Interactive displays for the Royal Navy and Royal Fleet Auxiliary
Loch Media - Documentary’s
We have produced many many models for TV Documentaries
In total we have built around 30 aircraft for Loch mostly they are World War 11 and 30’s aviation. They produced a series on Discovery dealing with Experimental German Aircraft “Luft 46” We had to build flying models from what were pretty much line drawings ( just like my youth) with some models such as the wedge shaped Lippisch built to a massive ¼ scale!
